An Evening With Maimuna : A Celebration of Life, Learning, And Empowerment With A Special Movie Screening.

Mesba Promotions Limited Hosts ‘An Evening with Maimuna’ to Mark Founder’s Birthday in Lagos, Nigeria – 23rd February 2025: a special event, ‘An Evening with Maimuna,’ to celebrate the birthday of its founder, Maimuna. 

The event, which took place on the 23rd February, at the Officers Mess,  Airstation Base,Navy Town Ojo brought together friends, family, and well-wishers for an evening of relaxation, entertainment, and thought-provoking discussion.

The highlight of the evening was the screening of a movie produced by Maimuna, which focused on the importance of responsible parenting, personal growth, and family values. The film sparked a critical analysis on the sensitive topic of rape and the reactions of family members to such situations.

The discussion shed light on the often-taboo topic, highlighting the tendency for some family members to conceal the truth and protect perpetrators rather than supporting victims and condemning the abuse.

Through this event, Mesba Promotions Limited aims to promote awareness and education on social issues, encouraging individuals to take a stand against injustice and promote positive change in their communities. 

Going on, Mesba Arts Studio would premiere Nollywood movies periodically within Navy town Ojo, Satellite town,  festac town and its environs educating people on issues treated in our movies as it affects our minds, marriages, children and the family unit in general.
