The club was founded and established on the 27th of AUGUST , 2024 by a VISIONER , a convener and the founder, Dr Abiodun Olowo Muibi , a veteran broadcast Journalist in Abeokuta , Ogun State.

Ina remarkable show of birthday celebration, recognition and partnership, the Tourist Adventure Club of Nigeria (TAC), led by its President, Dr. Abiodun Muibi, payed a courtesy visit to the country home of an Ogun state based business mogul, a successful business man and also a philanthropist, Chief Owolabi Oluwanbe the MD/ CEO of Oluwab Hotel where he was honored and decorated as the Grand Patron of the Club TAC on Wednesday the 27th August , 2025 in Abeokuta Ogun State.

The visit, which was marked by the large members of the Club with warmth, purpose, and optimism, was aimed at promoting collaboration between some philanthropists , corporate bodies especially in areas connect to tourism, adventure, youth engagement, and cultural promotion.

As part of the activities for the decoration, Chief Owolabi Oluwambe was formally decorated as the Grand Patron of the Tourist Adventure Club of Nigeria, in honour of his outstanding contributions to the masses development and his philanthropic activities in the society , Ogun state n Nigeria as a whole regarding community upliftment.

The President of the Club, Dr. Abiodun Muibi, in his address, emphasized the importance of integrating tourism and adventure into youth development programs, noting that Ogun State, with its rich history and diverse landscape, has great potential to become a leading destination for tourism and cultural exchange.

In his speech , Dr Muibi applauded Chief Oluwambe track record of service and commitment to excellence, which made him a natural choice for the honorary role.

While responding Chief Oluwmbe, expressed his appreciation on behalf of his family and the entire members of his staff Oluwab international Hotel for the honour bestowed on him.

He commended the Club’s vision and assured them of the support in advancing initiatives that empower young people through tourism, sports, and cultural activities. He highlighted the need for collaborative efforts to boost local tourism, encourage healthy lifestyles, and showcase Ogun State’s rich heritage.

The Tourist Adventure Club of Nigeria (TAC) is a reputable national organization committed to promoting tourism, adventure, cultural awareness, and youth capacity building across Nigeria. The Club has continued to partner with relevant stakeholders in government and the private sector to promote a generation of young Nigerians who are culturally aware, physically active, and socially responsible.

TAC’s birthday was witness by over 100 members of the club , families n well wishers , wishing them successful outings as they move to the level of the era of the Club TAC .
